Finding a Pink Unicorn is when what you thought was going to be hard to find or accomplish, turns out to be much easier than you thought it would be! I am always hoping for situations to turn out better than I expect them to and am keeping myself open to that being the case more often. It seems to be about being in a place-space where you can keep your eyes, ears, and heart open. I found what I am making note of as my first literal and figurative Pink Unicorn while driving home from the movies one night. I happened to be looking out my passenger window at just the right time to spot a large pink unicorn installment in a storefront. I really and truly couldn’t believe it! I had been seeing more and more unicorn products lately, but none were pink. It is not hyperbole when I say it was magical to have spotted this practically life-sized pink unicorn in the window. It was unexpectedly fun and better than I could have imagined. Universe, please bring on the Pink Unicorns; hoping for some at the post office and other similar interactions/situations. So whether it is the trendier and younger than me girl shouting across the mall parking lot, “I love your pants!”(Referring to the Top Shop Floral Peg Trousers I was wearing and my husband dislikes) or the friendly customer service I receive when flying Southwest Airlines, I look forward to finding many more Pink Unicorns.
