I don’t know what the art in this picture means to the person who created it, but I do know what it means to me: Art on my commute! It was a magical moment when I spotted it on my otherwise very long and grey building filled drive to work. I didn’t have time to stop for a picture on the way to work, but I did make a plan to take one on my way home, despite it then being on the “wrong” side of the road. When considering all we could be doing with our time, and all we have to do with our time (adult life boring tasks: laundry, dishes, cleaning, taxes, etc.), I often ponder what uses of our time, energy, money, and caloric intake are worth it. Fully appreciating this piece of commute art WAS absolutely worth it.
