Valentine’s Day has always been my favorite holiday. I love hearts, chocolate, pink&red, and most of all…..Valentine’s Day cards! I am all about “saving trees”, recycling and reusing, and overall not using paper more than necessary. However, I just can’t get past my love of Valentine’s Day and the cards that go with it. One of my favorite memories, albeit bittersweet, is of my 3rd grade Valentine’s Day. I wasn’t sick on February 13th or 15th, but was very sick(for real) on the 14th that school year. I was so disappointed to be missing my favorite holiday celebration that my mom brought my Valentine cards to school and came back with a bag full for me from my classmates. It was an instant cheer-up; no boyfriend necessary, just cards! I like to think of Valentine’s Day as a day to celebrate all the things and people you love. Valentine’s Day forever!
