I think a pic of a rainbow unicorn butterfly cat is cause for an excessive celebration.  In football terms, excessive celebration means a prolonged, excessive, or premeditated celebration such as performing an offensive and gaudy dance in the end zone.  The small dance I did upon viewing this pic was neither offensive nor gaudy, just celebratory.

I understand why certain excessive end zone celebrations are viewed as unsportsmanlike, however, sometimes I find the non-offensive celebrations to be my favorite part of watching the game. I admit, I could be a bigger watcher of football, and really only get excited about the game when the Green Bay Packers are playing.  So only recently did I learn that excessive end zone celebrations cost you, a game penalty and possibly thousands of dollars.  Taunting seems worthy of a penalty, but something about a player fake mooning makes me laugh and think of elementary school boy antics. Something about it is at least a little bit funny…..or a lot funny.

I am glad to know other minds out there find excessive celebration something to laugh about.  The Key and Peele excessive celebration sketch does a much better job illustrating my point. I think it is time for me to watch it again.
