Summer technically started over a week ago, but it wasn’t until I saw Magic Mike XXL last night that I felt my summer had officially begun.  No need to have seen or liked the first Magic Mike film, this sequel was better than the original!  If you are looking for light-hearted fun, to laugh often, and enjoy male entertainers, this film is for you.  Good-bye melodrama of the original Magic Mike, hello successful formula of man candy+ good comedic timing/writing = fun.  Channing Tatum consistently delivers, but for me Joe Manganiello stole the show with his convenience store routine scene.  Everything about the scene from premise to execution made me say “Yeah -eah.” 🎶
